Active Ingredients:

Each tablet contains heat treated sodium bicarbonate 958 mg, citric acid 832 mg, potassium bicarbonate 312 mg. As Effervescent Antacid in water contains principally the antacids sodium citrate and potassium citrate.

Inactive Ingredient: Tableting aid.

For relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, or sour stomach.

: Except under the advice and supervision of a physician, do not take more than: Adults: 8 tablets in a 24-hour period (60 years of age or older: 7 tablets in a 24-hour period), Children: 4 tablets in a 24-hour period; or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than 2 weeks.

Do not use this product except under the advice and supervision of a physician if you are on a sodium restricted diet. Each tablet contains 311 mg. of sodium.

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.

Drug Interaction Precaution: Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking a prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your doctor or other health professional.

Directions:   Dissolve Alka Seltzer Effervescent Antacid in 4 oz. of water before taking. Adults: Take 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed. Children: 1 / 2 the adult dosage or as directed by a doctor.
