GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel:
Multidose Convenience WITHOUT Irritation

GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel differs from ordinary multidose tears because it is preserved in the tube by a unique preservative, sodium perborate. Upon contact with the eye, sodium perborate turns into pure water and oxygen, thereby minimizing the irritation that may be caused by traditional preservatives. So all you feel is soothing relief.

GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel is a clear gel that liquifies upon contact with the eye, spreading rapidly without leaving streaks or causing blurred vision like ointments. And unlike ointments, GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel contains no irritating lanolin or mineral oil. Once in the eye, GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel forms a long-lasting protective film. In fact, only three to four applications per day can provide comfort all day and night.

FDA Approved Uses/ For the temporary relief of discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye from exposure to wind, sun, or other irritants. For use as a protectant against further irritation or to relieve dryness of the eye.

Directions:

Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. The frequency of administration depends on requirements. On average, one drop is administered 3-4 times daily. If required, GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel may be administered more frequently.
Hold the tube vertically. This results in the formation of a small drop which readily becomes detached from the tube opening. This drop is instilled into the conjunctival sac.
Close tube immediately after use.

GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel contains hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 0.3%; with carbopol 980, phosphonic acid, purified water and sorbitol; sodium perborate (0.028%) added as a preservative.

: If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a doctor. To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to any component of the gel.

If gel changes color or becomes cloudy, do not use.

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

Always replace cap after using.

Store at 8° - 25°C (46° - 77°F).

How supplied: GenTeal™ Lubricant Eye Gel is supplied in a dropper tipped plastic squeeze tube containing 10 mL. Use only if tamper-evident pull tab is intact at the time of purchase.
