Each 2.5 mL ( 1 / 2 teaspoonful) of Robitussin DM Infant Drops contain:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide,

Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with a cold and helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive.
: Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a physician.
A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache, consult a physician.
Do not take this product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.
Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product.
Directions Robitussin DM: Follow dosage below or use as directed by a doctor. Dosage cup provided. DO NOT EXCEED 6 DOSES IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD. Adults and children 12 years and over: 2 teaspoonfuls every 4 hours; children 6 years to under 12 years, 1 teaspoonful every 4 hours; children 2 years to under 6 years, 1 / 2 teaspoonful every 4 hours; children under 2 years--consult your doctor.
Directions Robitussin DM Infant Drops: Choose by weight (if weight not known, choose by age). 2 years to under 6 years (24-47 lbs.) 2-5 mL under 2 yrs (under 24 lbs.), consult doctor.
How Supplied: Robitussin-DM (cherry-colored) in bottles of 4 fl oz, 8 fl oz, 12 fl oz, 16 fl oz and single doses: premeasured doses-- 1 / 3 fl oz each.
Store at Controlled Room Temperature, between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F).
