Active Ingredients:   LIQUID--per 2 TBSP or LIQUICAPS--per two softgels, contains: Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 60 mg, Acetaminophen 650 mg (Liquid) or 500 mg (softgels), Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 20 mg.

Inactive Ingredients:    Liquid : Citric Acid, Flavor, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Citrate, Sucrose, Yellow 6. Softgels : Gelatin, Glycerin, Polyethylene Glycol, Povidone, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, Red 40, Sorbitol Special, Yellow 6.

Sodium Content: Liquid, 141 mg per 30 ml dose.

Uses:   Temporarily relieves common cold/flu symptoms:

• minor aches
• pains
• headache
• muscular aches
• sore throat pain
• fever
• nasal congestion
• cough

Directions:    Use measuring spoon or dose cup.

Repeat every 4 hours, not to exceed 4 doses per day or use as directed by a doctor. If taking NyQuil® and DayQuil®, limit total to 4 doses per day.

LiquiCaps

Directions:   Under 6 years--Ask a doctor.

Repeat every 4 hours, not to exceed 4 doses per day or use as directed by a doctor. If taking DayQuil and NyQuil® limit total to 4 doses per day.

Failure to follow these could result in serious consequences.

:   Do not exceed recommended dosage. Do not use with other products containing acetaminophen. If nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and ask a doctor.

Do not take unless directed by a doctor if you have:

• heart disease
• asthma
• emphysema
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• high blood pressure
• persistent or chronic cough
• cough associated with smoking
• excessive phlegm (mucus)
• breathing problems
• difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland

Alcohol Warning:   If you generally consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks per day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional advice or contact a poison control center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. Liquid only : Do not use this product if you are on a sodium-restricted diet unless directed by a doctor.

Drug Interaction Precaution:   Do not use this product without first asking a doctor if you take:

• a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease), for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug or if you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI.

Dosing Duration: Do not use over 7 days (for adults) or 5 days (for children).

Ask A Doctor:   

• If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting.
• If symptoms do not improve, are accompanied by a fever that lasts more than 3 days or if new symptoms occur.
• If a cough persists for more than 7 days (adults) or 5 days (children), recurs or is accompanied by a rash or persistent headache. A persistent cough may be the sign of a serious condition.

How Supplied:   Available in: LIQUID 6 FL OZ (175 ml) and 10 FL OZ (295 ml) plastic bottles with child-resistant, tamper-evident cap and a calibrated medicine cup.

LIQUICAP: in 12-count child-resistant packages and 20- and 36-count nonchild-resistant packages. Each softgel is imprinted: "DayQuil."
