Lotrimin® AF Cream 1% is a white fully vanishing homogeneous cream containing 1% clotrimazole. The cream contains no sensitizing parabens and is totally grease free and nonstaining.
Lotrimin® AF Solution is a nonaqueous liquid, containing 1% clotrimazole. Also contains polyethylene glycol.
Lotrimin® AF Lotion is a light penetrating buffered emulsion containing 1% clotrimazole. Does not contain common sensitizing agents. Also is greaseless and nonstaining.
Lotrimin AF Cream, Solution and Lotion cure athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris) and ringworm (tinea corporis). For effective relief of the itching, cracking, burning, scaling and discomfort which can accompany these conditions.
Directions: Cleanse skin with soap and water and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer over affected area morning and evening or as directed by a doctor. For athlete's foot, pay special attention to the spaces between the toes. It is also helpful to wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes and to change shoes and socks at least once daily. Best results in athlete's foot and ringworm are usually obtained with 4 weeks use of this product, and in jock itch with 2 weeks use. If satisfactory results have not occurred within these times, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Children under 12 years of age should be supervised in the use of this product. This product is not effective on the scalp or nails.
: For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use on children under 2 years of age except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. If irritation occurs or if there is no improvement within 4 weeks (for athlete's foot or ringworm) or within 2 weeks (for jock itch), discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
How Supplied: Lotrimin® AF Antifungal Cream is available in a 0.42 oz. tube (12 grams) and a 0.84 oz. tube (24 grams). Lotrimin® AF Jock Itch Cream is available in a 0.42 oz tube (12 grams).
Inactive ingredients include: cetearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate, sorbitan monostearate and water and as a preservative, benzyl alcohol (1%).
Lotrimin® AF Antifungal Solution is available in a 0.33 fl. oz. (10 milliliters) bottle. Inactive ingredient is PEG.
Lotrimin® AF Antifungal Lotion is available in a 0.66 fl. oz. (20 milliliters) bottle. Inactive ingredients include cetearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate, sodium biphosphate, sodium phosphate dibasic, sorbitan monostearate and water and as a preservative, benzyl alcohol (1%).
Storage Keep Lotrimin® AF Cream and Solution products between 2° and 30°C (36° and 86°F), and Lotrimin® AF Lotion product between 2° and 25°C (36° and 77°F).
