INACTIVE INGREDIENTS

TABLETS: Dextrates, flavor, sorbitol, stearic acid, tricalcium phosphate. Cherry: Red 7.

SOFTELGELS: FD&C blue #1, gelatin, glycerin, iron oxide black, peppermint oil, titanium dioxide.

INDICATIONS

For relief of the symptoms of excess gas in the digestive tract. Such gas is frequently caused by excessive swallowing of air or by eating foods that disagree. MYLANTA® GAS Softgels, MYLANTA® GAS Relief, and Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets are high capacity antiflatulents for adjunctive treatment of many conditions in which the retention of gas may be a problem, such as the following: air swallowing, postoperative gaseous distention, peptic ulcer, spastic or irritable colon, diverticulosis. If condition persists, consult your physician.

MYLANTA® GAS Softgels, MYLANTA® GAS Relief, and Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets have a defoaming action that relieves flatulence by dispersing and preventing the formation of mucus-surrounded gas pockets in the gastrointestinal tract. MYLANTA® GAS Softgels, MYLANTA® GAS Relief, and Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets act in the stomach and intestines to change the surface tension of gas bubbles enabling them to coalesce, thereby freeing and eliminating the gas more easily by belching or passing flatus.

DIRECTIONS

MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets

One tablet four times daily after meals and at bedtime. May also be taken as needed up to six tablets daily or as directed by a physician.

Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets

One tablet four times daily after meals and at bedtime or as directed by a physician.

Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Softgels

Take 1-2 softgels as needed after meals and at bedtime. Do not exceed 4 softgels per day unless directed by a physician.

Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

HOW SUPPLIED

MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets are available as white (mint) or pink (cherry) scored, chewable tablets identified "MYL GAS 80." Mint NDC 16837-858. Cherry NDC 16837-859.

Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Relief Tablets are available as white, scored, chewable tablets identified "MYL GAS 125." NDC 16837-455.

Maximum Strength MYLANTA® GAS Softgels are available as blue softgels. NDC 16837-611.
