INDICATIONS

For fast relief of acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach and upset stomach associated with these symptoms. Can also be used as a daily source of extra calcium.

Ultra Mylanta Calci Tabs - Calcium Carbonate USP, 1,000 mg per tablet

Extra Strength Calci Tabs - Calcium Carbonate USP, 750 mg per tablet

ACTIONS

Mylanta Calci Tabs provide rapid neutralization of stomach acid. Each Ultra Mylanta Calci Tab tablet has an acid-neutralizing capacity (ANC) of 20 mEq and each Extra Strength Mylanta Calci Tab tablet has an ANC of 15 mEq per tablet.

Ultra Mylanta Calci Tabs - Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than two weeks except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

Extra Strength Calci Tabs - Do not take more than 10 tablets in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage of this product for more than two weeks except under the advice and supervision of a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

DRUG INTERACTION PRECAUTION

Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs. If you are presently taking a prescription drug, do not take this product without checking with your physician or health professional.

Ultra Mylanta Calci Tabs: Fruit Medley and Cool Mint: dextrose, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate, starch, cellulose, citric and fumaric acids, natural and artificial flavors, mineral oil, sucroseethylmaltol, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and stearic acid and may contain (FD&C yellow #6, FD&C yellow #5, (tartrazine), FD&C blue #1, D&C red #27).

Extra Strength Calci Tabs: Fruit Medley and Cool Mint: dextrose, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, starch, cellulose, citric and fumaric acids, natural and artificial flavors, mineral oil, sucrose, ethylmaltol, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and stearic acid and may contain (FD&C yellow #6, FD&C yellow #5, (tartrazine), FD&C blue #1, D&C red #27).

DIRECTIONS FOR ANTACID USE:

Ultra Mylanta Calci Tabs - Chew 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur. Repeat hourly if symptoms return or as directed by a physician.

Extra Strength Mylanta Calci Tabs - Chew 2-4 talbets as symptoms occur. Repeat hourly if symptoms return or as directed by a physician.

USE AS A DIETARY SUPPLEMENT:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON OSTEOPOROSIS:

Research shows that certain ethnic, age and other groups are at a higher risk for developing osteoporosis, including Caucasian and Asian teen and young adult women, menopausal women, older persons and those persons with a family history of fragile bones. A balanced diet with enough calcium and regular exercise will help you to build and maintain healthy bones and may reduce your risk of developing osteoporosis later in life. Adequate calcium is important, but daily intakes above 2,000 mg are not likely to provide any additional benefit.

Directions For Calcium Supplement Use:

Ultra Mylanta Calci Tabs - Chew 2 tablets twice daily. Average daily calcium intake should not exceed 6 tablets. Other Information: The 1,000 mg of calcium carbonate in each tablet provide 400 mg of elemental calcium.

Extra Strength Mylanta Calci Tabs - Chew 2 tablets twice daily. Average daily calcium intake should not exceed 8 tablets. Other Information: The 750 mg of calcium carbonate in each tablet provide 300 mg of elemental calcium.
