Nestabs® CBF is indicated for use in improving the nutritional status of women throughout pregnancy and in the postnatal period for both lactating and nonlactating mothers. Nestabs® CBF is also beneficial in improving the nutritional status of women prior to conception.
This product is contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblasitc anemias where vitamin B 12 is deficient.

Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations remain progressive.
Allergic sensitization has been reported following both oral and parenteral administration of folic acid.
One tablet daily or as directed by a physician.
Nestabs® CBF tablets for oral administration are supplied as white elliptical film-coated tablets with "CBF" debossed on one side and scored on the opposite side in child-resistant packages of 90 tablets (9 cards of 2 × 5 blisters). NDC 0421-2001-01.
Store at controlled room temperature 15°-30° (59°-86°F)
