Povidone-iodine with alcohol is stored in the 4-inch-long plastic handle of these individually wrapped applicators which are packaged dry. Antiseptic solution is released into the soft foam swab head by gently squeezing the handle.
Reduces bacterial load and the risk of infection.
For degerming skin and mucous membranes. Provides sufficient antiseptic solution for most types of site prepping--including prior to IM injections, venous punctures, and minor surgical procedures.
Gently squeeze plastic handle. This allows the release of the antiseptic solution into the foam swab head. Apply to prep site with the moistened foam tip, working in a circular motion from inside to outside. Apply as often as needed.
For External Use Only. Do not use in the eyes. Discontinue use if irritation and redness develop. Do not heat prior to application. FLAMMABLE. KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE, FLAME OR ELECTRICAL SPARK.
150 individually packaged applicators per dispensing unit. Each applicator contains approximately 2.6 grams of solution.
