Effectively loosens lice eggs by helping to dissolve the substance that glues the lice eggs (nits) to the hair. It starts to work in minutes, making nit combing faster and easier. And, it leaves hair soft and manageable.

RID Lice Egg Loosener Gel does not kill lice or their eggs.

Directions:

First, use a pediculicide shampoo, such as Maximum Strength RID Lice Killing Shampoo (not included) to kill lice and their eggs.
Towel dry hair.
Apply RID Lice Egg Loosener Gel liberally to damp hair and massage well to ensure that the product covers the entire head.
Pay special attention to the area behind the ears and at the nape of the neck where there are likely to be more nits (eggs).
Comb out dead lice and their eggs (nits) with the enclosed RID Egg Removal Comb.
If hair dries during combing, apply additional gel.
After the entire head is combed rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Clean combs, bobby pins, and clips after use by soaking in Maximum Strength RID Lice Killing Shampoo or hot water (at least 130°F) for 10 minutes.

Important: Reapply Maximum Strength RID Lice Killing Shampoo in accordance with shampoo label directions.
