Dietary supplementation with THE VASORECT FORMULA™ is recommended for healthy adult males concerned about maintaining healthy erectile and cardiovascular functioning. The product may also be used by adult women with the same concerns. The erectile process involves a number of biochemical events that ultimately lead to erection sufficient for intromission. THE VASORECT FORMULA™ was designed to benefit the biochemical reactions required for erection. Sexual arousal causes the parasympathetic nervous system to release acetylcholine (ACh). ACh binds to endothelial cell receptors lining the arterioles that supply the corpus cavernosum with blood upon arousal. Nitric Oxide (NO) diffuses to smooth muscle cells of the arterioles supplying the corpus cavernosum. NO stimulates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, by binding to that enzyme' heme group, and converts cytosolic guanosine 5'-triphosphate (GTP) to guanosine 3',5'-cyclic monphosphate (cGMP). cGMP relaxes the arterioles (cGMP relaxation) of the corpus cavernosum, allowing blood engorgement of the erectile tissues. An increase in the available free arginine can contribute to the erectile process by providing the most important substrate for NO production. This is particularly important when considering the instability of NO and its very short lifetime of just a few seconds, at which time it is converted to nitrite or nitrate and excreted from the body. The formula also contains calcium, an essential part of the vasodilation process. Calcium helps the enzyme, nitric oxide synthase (NOS), to derive nitric oxide from arginine. Cardiovascular health is of utmost concern to American men and women. In addition to the ability of THE VASORECT FORMULA™ to contribute to the vascular aspect of the erectile process, it provides the arginine required to help produce NO for the proper vasodilator tone that contributes to the healthy functioning of the entire cardiovascular system. The cardiovascular system has numerous regulators, but its healthy function relies heavily on the endothelium-derived NO/cGMP mechanism for regulating blood pressure and blood flow throughout the body. Arginine is an essential part of this process, contributing to the available NO required for homeostatic control of the vasculature. This is accomplished throughout the body in the same biochemical fashion as the erectile process described above, involving the smooth muscle cells lining all blood vessels. The proper elasticity of arterial blood vessels is essential in maintaining normal blood flow, and this elasticity is associated with the availability of high levels of NO to the endothelial lining of those vessels. THE VASORECT FORMULA™ provides the free arginine required to contribute to these healthy states.

Ingredients: 4 capsules of THE VASORECT FORMULA™ contain 2,500 mg of Arginine free base, USP, and 50 mg of calcium (5% DV) from calcium carbonate, USP.

How Supplied: 710 mg opaque 00 capsules containing 625 mg of arginine free base, calcium carbonate & magnesium stearate. Bottled in 225 cc white HDPE bottle, cotton, desiccant, white vertical ridged cap, inner pressure sensitive safety seal, clear printed perforated neck band, product label, lot number, expiration date (two year shelf life under proper storage conditions).
