Each teaspoon (5 mL) of TRIAMINIC® AM COUGH AND DECONGESTANT FORMULA contains: pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, USP 15 mg and dextromethorphan hydrobromide, USP 7.5 mg in a palatable, orange/stawberry flavored, dye-free, non-drowsy, alcohol-free liquid. Inactive Ingredients: benzoic acid, citric acid, dibasic sodium phosphate, edetate disodium, flavors, propylene glycol, purified water, sorbitol, sucrose.

Sodium content: 7 mg per teaspoon.

Temporarily quiets coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritations and relieves stuffy noses.

: Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Do not exceed recommended dosage. If nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by fever, consult a doctor. Do not take this product if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland, unless directed by a doctor.

A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema or if cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by doctor.

As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.

Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor [MAOI] (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product.

Dosage and Administration: Adults and children 12 and over (96+ lbs)--4 teaspoons every 6 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years (48-95 lbs)--2 teaspoons every 6 hours. Children 2 to under 6 years (24-47 lbs)--1 teaspoon every 6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Dosing to children under 2 years of age is to be under the direction of a physician. For convenience, a True-Dose® dosage cup is provided with each 4 fl. oz. bottle.

Professional Labeling: The suggested dosage for pediatric patients is:


4-12 months (12-17 lbs)	1.25 ml ( ¹ / ₄ tsp) every 6 hours
12-24 months (18-23 lbs)	2.5 ml ( ¹ / ₂ tsp) every 6 hours
Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
