Each teaspoon (5 mL) of TRIAMINIC® AM DECONGESTANT FORMULA contains: pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, USP 15 mg in a palatable, orange/strawberry flavored, dye-free, non-drowsy, alcohol-free liquid. Inactive ingredients : benzoic acid, edetate disodium, flavors, purified water, sodium hydroxide, sorbitol, sucrose.

Sodium content: 1 mg per teaspoon.

For temporary relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, or associated with sinusitis. Reduces swelling of nasal passages; shrinks swollen membranes.

: Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately.

Do not exceed recommended dosage. If nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by fever, consult a doctor. Do not take this product if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland, unless directed by a doctor.

As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.

Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor [MAOI] (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson' disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product.

Dosage and Administration: Adults and children 12 and over (96+ lbs)--4 teaspoons every 4-6 hours. Children 6 to under 12 years (48-95 lbs)--2 teaspoons every 4-6 hours. Children 2 to under 6 years (24-47 lbs)--1 teaspoon every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Dosing to children under 2 years of age is to be under the direction of a physician. For convenience, a True-Dose® dosage cup is provided with each 4 fl. oz. bottle.

Professional Labeling: The suggested dosage for pediatric patients is:


4-12 months (12-17 lbs)	1.25 ml ( ¹ / ₄ tsp) every 4 to 6 hours
12-24 months (18-23 lbs)	2.5 ml ( ¹ / ₂ tsp) every 4 to 6 hours
Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
