For temporary relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies or associated with sinusitis. Temporarily relieves runny nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes due to hay fever (allergic rhinitis). Temporarily restores freer breathing through the nose.
: Do not to give this product to children who have a breathing problem such as chronic bronchitis, or who have glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid disease, unless directed by a physician. May cause drowsiness. Sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect. Do not give this product to children who are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting the child's physician. May cause excitability, especially in children.
Do not exceed recommended dosage. If nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, or are accompanied by a fever, consult a physician. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
Drug Interaction Precaution: Do not give this product to a child who is taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you are uncertain whether your child's prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before giving this product.
KEEP THIS AND ALL DRUGS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE, SEEK PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE OR CONTACT A POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.
Phenylketonurics: Each chewable tablet contains phenylalanine, 8 mg per tablet. Each Quick Dissolve tablet contains phenylalanine, 2.10 mg per tablet.
Directions: Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 2 chewable tablets every 4 hours. Children under 6: Consult a physician. DO NOT EXCEED 6 DOSES IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD.
How Supplied: Chewable tablets: Purple tablet scored on one side and engraved with AHR 2290 on the other in blister packs of 24 tablets.
Store at Controlled Room Temperature, Between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F).
