Zilactin-Baby medicated gel is uniquely formulated to temporarily relieve sore gums caused by teething in infants and children 4 months of age and older. The extra strength level of medication in Zilactin-Baby begins relieving the discomfort of teething pain in seconds. This specially developed gel combines a pleasant grape flavor with an advanced ingredient that imparts a cooling sensation.
Active Ingredient: Benzocaine (10%)
Inactive Ingredients: PEG-8, PEG-75, Glycerin, Water, Potassium Acesulfame, Flavor, Menthyl Lactate, Glycine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Sorbic Acid.
Directions: Wash hands. Apply small amount to the affected gum area with fingertip or cotton applicator. Apply to affected area not more than 4 times daily or as directed by a dentist or physician. For infants under 4 months of age, there is no recommended dosage or treatment except under the advice and supervision of a physician.
Warning: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT FOR MORE THAN 7 DAYS UNLESS DIRECTED BY A DENTIST OR PHYSICIAN. If sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days, or if irritation, pain, rash or fever develops, see a dentist or physician promptly. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not use this product if there is a history of allergy to topical anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other "caine" anesthetics. Fever and nasal congestion are not symptoms of teething and may indicate the presence of infection. If these symptoms persist consult your physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
